The NeORA Educational Forum provides an opportunity for training, professional development, issue discussions, and networking with colleagues. It also provides opportunities for members and other individuals interested in the recreation and healthy active living to:
- enhance professional development through sessions that focus on the specific needs of our industry
- participate in a wide range of sessions presented by both professional presenters and industry experts
- participate in activities and sessions that will encourage networking, idea sharing, issue discussions and solution seeking between delegates
- become informed on the latest news and trends in the industry
- explore innovative approaches to enhancing services to local communities
- meet with industry suppliers and source out new products and services
- exchange philosophies, strategies and approaches with peers from across the
province - identify service gaps and opportunities for on-going development and training network with various service providers and industry specialists.
Delegates from primarily Northeastern Ontario, will include representatives from municipalities, First Nations, community volunteer groups /organizations, non-profits, government agencies, and private business.

The NeORA Educational Forum hosts eighteen (18) ~ 1 ½ hr professional development sessions.
