A new edition of Mental Health and Physical Activity (MENPA) has been released. MENPA is an academic peer-reviewed journal that promotes high-quality research in understanding the link between mental health and physical activity.

Guy Faulkner, an academic researcher at the University of Toronto's Exercise Psychology Unit, has just released the December 2009 edition of this co-edited journal. Articles in this issue include a study on mental well-being and physical activity during and beyond leisure time, and others focused on exercise and its effect on mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder and depression.

Article abstracts are available online at http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/17552966. A free sample issue of MENPA can be viewed at http://www.sciencedirect.com/science.
