Ontario Trillium Foundation: Prepare for the fall deadline

Posted on June 22, 2010

The Ontario Trillium Foundation funds an array of community and provincial programs for people of all ages and abilities that support the development of healthy communities. Of the four areas given priority, one has a focus on “healthier and more physically active Ontarians.” Grants in this stream are intended for initiatives that, among other goals, create opportunities for physical and recreational activity, support the creation of sustainable systems of health and well-being, and protect the natural environment. Visit the Trillium Foundation website for a more detailed look at the priority areas.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for an Ontario Trillium grant if you are a registered Canadian charity or non-profit organization. See the Trillium Foundation website for more information on eligibility.

There are three opportunities to apply for an Ontario Trillium grant each year:

  • March 1,
  • July 1 and
  • November 1.

With the July deadline fast approaching, you might want to consider the requirements and preparations now for an application by the fall deadline. Visit the Trillium Foundation website to begin the application process.

See the resource directory for other grant sources.
